Since 1940, a family history

Welcome to the world of Erberossi, where the passion for medicinal plants has turned into an authentic taste experience. Founded in the 1940s with the aim of selecting the best aromatic plants to create unique preparations, the experience of the Erberossi company's founder – Franco Rossi – has been passed down through the generations. His sons, Giacomo and Giovanni, have inherited this passion and transformed it into new forms, textures and combinations that delight the palate.

Nowadays, thanks to modern technology and a team of food experts who carefully monitor each stage of processing, Erberossi creates jams, fruit preserves and compotes, as well as artisanal products to celebrate the taste heritage of each individual ingredient and many varieties of honey, 100% Italian.

1940

Franco Rossi, a native of a small municipality in the Pavia Apennines, which overlooks 4 provinces and 4 regions, undertakes the business of researching and selecting aromatic and medicinal plants harvested in the Apennines for food and pharmaceutical companies, and producing and packaging tea and infusions.

During these years, a line of selected products for herbalist shops was implemented and in the 1970s the family herbalist shop was opened in the city of Voghera.

1985

Franco Rossi Snc was established with the arrival in the company of his sons Giovanni and Giacomo, who complemented the research and selection activities undertaken by their father with the production and packaging of honeys, pollen and royal jelly.

2001

Sons Giovanni and Giacomo inherited their passion for nature from their father Franco and transformed it into new forms, textures and flavour-enhancing combinations: this is how Erberossi SRL was born.

Using modern technology and a team of food experts, who are constantly present at every stage of processing, Erberossi produces artisanal food products that enhance the heritage of their regions.

2001: nasce così la Erberossi SRL

2008

Erberossi enters the ORGANIC world by obtaining certification by the Biogricert organisation.

Erberossi combines a passion for nature and the craftsmanship of its products with the use of the most advanced production technologies. Not only a passion for food, therefore, but also certified quality: one of the most important international quality certifications, the IFS, is achieved.
